
Andrés Felipe Zapata Gaviria, known professionally as Wolfine, is a Colombian singer, songwriter, and rapper born on December 21, 1978, in Medellín, Colombia. Initially active in the underground hip-hop scene in the barrios of Medellín, he transitioned into reggaeton and urban music, gaining regional and international recognition. In 2012, Wolfine was recognized at the Colombian Shock Awards, where he won Best Artist or Urban Group and Best New Artist or Group.
Over his career, Wolfine has collaborated with several prominent international artists, including Nicky Jam, Ñengo Flow, Julio Voltio, Kafu Banton, King Chesta, and Thirstin Howl. He achieved significant international commercial success with his single "Bella". He has continued to release music steadily, with singles including "Le Pido A Dios" in 2018, "Princesa" and "Wolfine Súper Hits" in 2019, followed by "Luna" in 2021, and "El Plan" and "El Flete" in 2022.
Wolfine's output has persisted into the mid-2020s. His later singles include "DEJA VU" and "CUMBIANEA" in 2023, as well as "EL VALS", "PAGANI", and "Que Chimba" in 2024. He released the single "BUMERÁN" in 2025, maintaining his presence within the Latin urban music landscape.
