Orquesta La Solución is a Puerto Rican salsa group founded in 1974 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, by bassist and director Roberto Rivera. The group's name was chosen to represent a mission of fostering creative musical freedom. The orchestra established a powerful sound characterized by a brass section of four trombones, Latin percussion, and solid vocal harmonies.
The group has maintained an active recording presence over several decades, releasing albums such as La Solución Romántica in 1992, Salsa Baúl in 1993, and the compilations Oro Salsero in 1994, Pura Salsa in 2006, and A Travez del Tiempo in 2008. Orquesta La Solución has continued to issue new material in the 2020s, including singles like Que Linda Estas and No Es Lo Que Tú Cres in 2021, Yo No Me Caso in 2022, and both Me Dueles and Rumbera in 2024.
