Segui's Salsa D' Barrio Project is a classical salsa ensemble founded by percussionist, arranger, and vocalist Nepy Maldonado alongside Eric Seguí. The group was established to bring together high-caliber musicians from the classic salsa scene.
The project began releasing music in 2020 under the Karibe Music Group LLC label. That year, they released their debut singles, including "Mi Barrio Querido"—which featured vocal contributions from Edwin Lebrón, Anthony Colón, Nepy Maldonado, and Willito Rosado—and "Eres Tu," which featured Puerto Rican vocalist Charlei Jey. In 2022, the group followed up these releases with the album "Salsa D' Barrio."
