Orquesta La Fuerza Mayor is a Colombian tropical and salsa musical group. Often associated with Chucho Nuncira under the name Chucho Nuncira y su Orquesta La Fuerza Mayor, the band is recognized for its brass-forward arrangements and a style that blends regional Caribbean rhythms such as cumbia and porro with salsa.
The group established its recording career in the early 1990s, debuting with the album La Fuerza Mayor in 1991, followed by A Flor De Piel in 1992. In addition to tracks like Amarilla Se Pone, the orchestra's catalog includes singles such as Amor a Primera Vista, Bajo Las Estrellas, and the 2025 release Bailando Contigo.
