Croma Latina is an Italian salsa and Latin music band founded in 2001 in the Adriatic Riviera city of Cattolica. The group was established by founder Fausto Olmi, who was inspired to form the project after a vacation in Cuba where he fell in love with tropical music rhythms and dance.
Shortly after their formation in 2001, the band released a salsa adaptation of the Italian classic "Quella Carezza della Sera" under the title "El caricia," alongside the single "Baila y toca." Performing a mix of salsa, timba, and bachata, the ensemble became known for producing both original tropical tracks and Latin arrangements of popular Italian songs.
The group has continued to record and release music regularly. Their catalog includes the 2018 singles "Pa' Mi Casa" and "Tremenda Combinación." In 2023 and 2024, Croma Latina released a series of tracks, including "Corazón Felino," "Lo Hare por Ti," "Due Vite (Bachata Version)," "No Quiero Llorar," "Sinceramente (Bachata Version)," "Dile," "Mi Diamante," "Te Acordarás," and "Ya No Estás." In 2025, they released the single "Amor Sin Final."
