Leonardo "Leo" Mena is a Mexican singer-songwriter born on February 1, 1978, in Valladolid, Yucatán, Mexico. He spent his early childhood in Panabá, Yucatán, where he began studying music at the age of seven. He continued his musical education in the Mexican cities of Tizimín and Mérida until the age of 15.
Active in the bolero and salsa genres, Mena made his release debut in 2023 with the single "Frente al Espejo," collaborating with pianist and arranger Eric "Pochis" Gonzalez. His early discography from 2023 also includes the single releases "No invites al amor," "Disculpe Señorita," and "¿Cuánto te amas?"
Mena continued to build his catalog with a series of singles in 2024, including "Eterna," "Señora Luna," "Cántela, Maestro," "Tan solo un corazón," and "Entre el Amor y la Razón." In 2025, he released the single "Tu Presencia" alongside a salsa arrangement of his earlier work, titled "Frente al Espejo (Versión Salsa)."
