Gonzo Gonzales is a Peruvian-born, United States-based DJ, producer, engineer, and musician specializing in salsa and mambo. A U.S. Army veteran, he is the founder of DJ Gonzo Productions, host of Salsamania-Austin, and the leader of Gonzo & su Orquesta Austin.
Gonzales' musical output in our catalog began in 2014 with the release of the single "Ain't No Sunshine". His debut album, "Salsa Pa Todo El Mundo", featured a collaboration with the noted Peruvian pianist and composer Alfredito Linares. In his recordings, Gonzales frequently acts as a multi-instrumentalist, playing bongos and performing background vocals, while also serving as his own recordist, mix engineer, master engineer, and producer.
In 2024, he released the single "Gozón 45!" as producer, artist, and mix engineer. This was followed by a prolific series of singles in 2025, which included "Perdoname", "Cuando No Estan", "Que Dichoso Es", "The Godfather", and "Isadora". In 2026, he released the single "En Tu Camino".
