
Sheila King is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. She developed an interest in music at an early age, singing at six years old and composing her own songs by age thirteen. Her musical style blends Latin roots, merengue, salsa, bachata, pop, and urbano rhythms.
King is a Latin Grammy-nominated artist who has performed across the United States and the Dominican Republic. In 2017, she was honored in Venezuela with the Supremacy Award for top Latin Female International Artist.
Her catalog of music includes several early singles released in 2015, such as "No Hay Manera," "Dejate Llevar," and "Que No Daria," followed by the 2016 singles "Dame un Besito," "Karma," and "Que Sera de Ti." She has also released several full-length albums, including "Supernova" in 2018, "Galaxia Musical" in 2019, "Trascendencia" in 2020, and "Laniakea" in 2025.
