Landy Cabrera is a Puerto Rican salsa and timba vocalist originally from Manatí, Puerto Rico, who later relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the United States. His musical style is influenced by classic salsa figures like Cano Estremera and Chamaco Ramirez, blending traditional salsa arrangements with contemporary production.
Cabrera launched his solo career in 2016 with the single "No hay Problema." He subsequently expanded his catalog with releases such as "Cantante Nuevo" in 2017, and both "Rumba en el Solar" and "Digamos" in 2021. In 2023, he released the album "Tenue" and performed at regional music events, including the HarborPark Jazz festival and Live At The Lakefront.
His production continued through 2024 and 2025 with singles such as "Si Tú Te Vas," "Te Amaré," "Mofonbowl Jingle," and "No me digas (Special Version)." His 2025 release "A ti cantaré" features a collaboration with Puerto Rican composer Angel Berrios, who is also known professionally as Angel Cora.
