Omar Sorpresa is a Dominican salsa vocalist and actor, often referred to in media as "El Último Sonero" (The Last Sonero). Active in the Dominican Republic's tropical music scene, he has performed as a guest vocalist with the ensemble Orquesta Los Custodios. His recorded discography includes the single "Zapatero a Tu Zapato."
In addition to his musical endeavors, Sorpresa has pursued acting, studying under the Venezuelan theater and film director Jerry Vizcuña. This training led to him securing a prominent role in the Dominican-Venezuelan juvenile drama series "Tu Blusa es mi Bandera."
