
Renesito Avich is a Cuban singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer specializing in son cubano, timba, and salsa. Born in Santiago de Cuba, he studied music at the University of the Arts in Havana. At the age of 15, Avich joined the prominent salsa big band Elito Revé y su Charangón as a tres player, touring internationally across South America and Europe.
Avich later relocated to Sarasota, Florida, establishing himself as a solo artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He received Latin Grammy nominations in 2022 and 2023, with his 2023 release "TRES" nominated specifically in the category of Best Instrumental Album.
His recorded work includes the albums "Café con Cariño" (2022), "TRES" (2023), and "Familia" (2025), alongside singles such as "Quiero Bailar Un Son" (2021), "Viva Celia" (2023), "Baila y Goza" (2024), and "Tu Mirada" (2025).
