Orquesta Internacional Araye is a Peruvian salsa and timba band founded on May 8, 2001, in the district of Breña, Lima, Peru. Established under the direction of Richard Yeremi Sotomayor Chacón, the group specializes in Cuban-style salsa (timba) and salsa dura for dancers.
The orchestra's recording career includes a series of singles and live recordings. Notable projects include the 2022 live albums Araye Tremendo Lio (En Vivo) and Celos (En Vivo), alongside tribute releases such as Charrupi (Homenaje Orquesta Calibre y Tromboranga) and Ruperto Men (Homenaje Grupo Niche). Their later work features singles like Mix Dan Den, A Mariana, and Me Canse, as well as the 2025 live albums Por Alguien Como Tu (En Vivo) and Orquesta Araye en el Casino Fortuna (En Vivo).
