Freddy K. was born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, on June 13, 1980. The son of a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother, he is the eldest son of the merengue singer Freddy Kenton, connecting him to the Kenton musical dynasty.
He entered the music industry as a solo artist, releasing the single "What You Want" in 2021. In 2022, he made his debut in the salsa genre with the romantic single "Estar Contigo," which was followed by the release of his album "La Dynastia" that same year.
Freddy K. remained active with a string of single releases from 2024 to 2025. His 2024 output included the singles "Chucky," "Dale Candela (Remix)," "MiLove," "Incomplete (Special Version)," and "Bandida." In 2025, he released "No La Comparto (Remix)," "Mi lindo Puerto Rico," "Violeta," and "Guapa."
