Alex Ramirez is a Peruvian salsa singer and sonero who previously served as a lead vocalist for the prominent Peruvian band Orquesta Camagüey. Over his career, he has achieved significant recognition, winning a Gaviota de Plata at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival and receiving two Latin Grammy nominations.
Ramirez's work primarily spans the salsa and timba genres. In 2023, he released the single "Mi Primera Rumba." His output continued into 2024 with the launch of the single "Tengo Que Colgar" and the album "A Mí Me Va Bien."
