Gustavo Angeles is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, composer, and producer originally from Mexico City, Mexico. He relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1994, where he adapted to the local music scene and integrated into the community. His musical style is a fusion of diverse genres, including Latin rock, flamenco, blues, classic rock, and Afro-Cuban music. Throughout his career, he has toured and traveled internationally to countries such as Cuba, Sweden, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico.
Angeles has received local recognition for his artistic work, including a grant from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture in 2024. This funding was designated to support an international recording collaboration bridging musicians from Cuba, Mexico, and the United States.
His recorded catalog includes his 2016 single "Gracias" and his 2018 album "Viento de Cambio". In subsequent years, Angeles released several singles, including "Patas Pa'rriba" in 2020, "Eagle Warrior / Caballero Aguila" in 2022, and "Menéate Pa' Acá" in 2025.
