Oscar Cardona is a Puerto Rican salsa singer, songwriter, and producer from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He began his professional musical career performing in the municipality of Coamo, collaborating with local groups such as La Quinta Era, Sabor Taíno, Orquesta Modelo, and Orquesta La Conteza.
In 2020, Cardona released his album Contrastes, which featured musical arrangements by Ricky Zayas and Tony Velásquez. During the same year, he released the singles "Crónicas de un Virus 'Encuarentonao'" and "Crónicas de un Virus 'Chan Covid'", followed by "Crónicas de un Virus" in 2021. He followed these works with the singles "Instinto Rumbero" and "La Cinta Verde" in 2022, as well as "Desastre de Huracán" and "Voy Pa' Cali" in 2023.
In 2024, Cardona released "Mal de Amores", a romantic salsa single of his own composition. He then returned in 2025 with the album Comenzar De Nuevo and its title track single, followed by the single "Un Mundo De Apariencias" in 2026.
