Gabriel Fernando Acevedo Mejía, known professionally as Gabo F, is a Colombian singer and songwriter born in Medellín. He began his musical interests at an early age, participating in school dance groups and learning how to play the drums. He later relocated to Spain, settling in Valladolid, which became the base for his ongoing musical career.
Gabo F's catalog blends salsa and timba, drawing from various Latin influences, including past experiences with reggaeton and electro-latino music. He began releasing music in 2015 with the single "Sin Ti", followed by releases such as "No Vuelvas" in 2016, and both "Se Te Nota" and "Suéltate" in 2017. After a brief hiatus, he returned to active recording in 2022 with the release of "Sin Rencor (Perro Fiel)".
His recent work includes the 2023 singles "La Criminal" and "Aqui Estoy Yo". In 2025, Gabo F continued his musical output with a series of singles, including "Señora Amanda", "Ya Lo Ves", and "Fuego Lento", further developing his contemporary style of salsa from his residency in Europe.
