Carlos "Caliche" Sabogal is a Colombian percussionist, session musician, and Latin Grammy winner born in Cali, Colombia. He has established a career performing and recording as a percussionist within the salsa and Latin music genres. In addition to his studio session work for diverse artists, he performs with the prominent Colombian salsa singer Yuri Buenaventura and operates Caliche Sabogal Estudios.
As a solo and featured recording artist, Sabogal's work spans the salsa and timba genres. Between 2020 and 2026, he released a series of singles, starting with "Marejada Feliz", "Tiempo Pa' Matar", "Agua Que Cae del Cielo", and "Ganas" in 2020. He followed these with "Guaguancó Del Adiós (Homenaje a Roberto Roena)" in 2022, followed by "Cóncavo y Convexo" in 2025, and "Ivonny Bonita" in 2026.
