The Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra is an 11-piece salsa ensemble based in Brooklyn, New York. Led by percussionist Gianni Mano, formerly of the Latin-funk band Radio Mundial, and fronted by vocalist Solange Prat, the group is distinguished by its unique approach of arranging indie and alternative rock compositions into salsa and mambo rhythms.
The group debuted in 2011 with their self-titled album, "Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra". Their discography expanded with the release of the single "Sunshine (I Can Fly)" in 2017, followed by the single "Criminal" and the album "Dialectica" in 2018. The orchestra's active catalog extends through 2025 with the release of the single "La Isla Bonita".
