Adriel González is a salsa and timba singer born and raised in The Bronx, New York. His parents are originally from Puerto Rico, with his father coming from Ciales and his mother from Patillas. He grew up influenced by his father, who worked as a guitarist and cuatrista in various trios and ensembles in Puerto Rico. González has been active in the salsa music industry for over three decades.
He released his album A Toda Máquina in 2001, followed by Como Debe Ser in 2010. On June 22, 2023, González released the album Hecho y Derecho, which was recorded between Puerto Rico and New York. The production of this album was led by Carlos "Cuto" Soto, Adán Pérez, and Ramón Sánchez. The project gathered collaborations and contributions from several notable salsa figures, including Víctor Manuelle, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Jerry Rivas, and Domingo Quiñones.
González has continued to record and release new music, including the 2025 single Cómo He De Vivir Sin Tu Cariño Salsa.
