Rik Indio (born Ricardo Delgado on July 24, 1973, in Paterson, New Jersey) is a salsa singer and songwriter of Puerto Rican descent. Raised in New Jersey by his parents, Maria and Evangelista Delgado—the latter a professional singer who recorded four albums—Indio was introduced to salsa music at an early age. His musical style blends Nuyorican salsa traditions with Puerto Rican influences and Latin pop.
Indio has built a catalog of singles that includes "Demasiado fuerte" and "Tu Ni Te Imaginas." In 2024, his active releases included a series of singles such as "Enamorado," "QUIEN ENTIENDE A LAS MUJERES," "ESCLAVO Y AMO," "Tu Sabes Bien," "ELLA," "Que Esperabas," and "Lo Hare."
