Luna Llena Salsa Band is a Colombian salsa ensemble formed in 2006 in Bogotá by vocalist and composer Julio César Pacheco and bassist and arranger Waldo Farela. Emerging from the capital's bohemian music scene, the group is known for playing salsa dura and incorporating electronic elements into their sound.
The band's catalog includes their debut album Alunizate and the 2021 album Del Calor al Frío, del Frío al Calor. They have also released a robust selection of singles, including "Aguanta el Viaje" (2021), "Rola Rumbera" (2023)—which also featured a live version recorded at the Salsa al Parque festival—and "Que Vuelva el Amor (Edición Salséctrico)" (2023). Their more recent work includes the singles "Canto al Amor" (2024), "Mil Maravillas" (2025), and "Dos Mundos" (2025).
