Myrthe van de Weetering is a Dutch violinist, vocalist, and composer born in the Netherlands in 1988. Her interest in music and visual storytelling began in her childhood, eventually leading her to pursue formal music education. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Production and Performance from the Faculty of Music Technology at HKU (Utrecht School of the Arts), followed by master's-level studies in composition in 2012. Her musical output spans multiple genres, incorporating elements of Latin music, classical, jazz, pop, and Arabic influences.
As a composer, van de Weetering has worked on several film and visual media projects, earning credits on productions such as Ongeneeslijk Verliefd (2016), Bergarde's Mystery Guest (2018), and Instilled (2020). Her active recording catalog features numerous independent releases, including the 2023 album Ghazal, alongside singles such as Up In The Sky (2022), Tic Tac (2023), Goodnight Little Star (2024), and Pandita's Theme Song (2025).
