Edwin Lebron

Edwin Lebron, often known as "El Sonero Urbano," is a salsa singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. His early musical education included performing in the marching band and gospel choir at Trenton Central High School. Lebron's career gained momentum after he won first place in Trenton's Mayor's talent quest in 1995. He later joined the salsa group LNG (La Nueva Generacion).

In 2002, Lebron relocated to New York and began working under the management of salsa musician Angel Mambo Lebron. Through this association, he collaborated with several established tropical and salsa artists, including Brenda K. Starr, Mickey Perfecto, Miosotis, and Hector Bonet.

Lebron released his debut full-length salsa album in 2011. He has since maintained a consistent release schedule, particularly in the 2020s. His solo catalog includes the singles "A Mi Manera," "Esta Cuarentena," "Close to You," and "Apúrate Bailador" in 2020, followed by "Goza La Vida" in 2021.
