
Francis Emmanuel Ndoumbe is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter, and composer who blends African heritage with Afro-Caribbean rhythms. He spent much of his youth in France before relocating to the United States to pursue studies in civil engineering. After settling in Santa Monica, California, Ndoumbe became actively involved in the local Cuban music scene, collaborating with Cuban musicians and band leaders such as Carlos Navarro and his Son Y Clave Orchestra, as well as Walter Segundo y su Orquestra Rumbaney.
Ndoumbe released his debut album, Soy Africaribe, in 2007, which established his signature Afro-Latin fusion style. In the years that followed, he maintained steady output, releasing singles such as I am a Soldier and Song Of Praise in 2017, and Africa Land Is Not for Sale in 2018. His 2020 single Marilu was followed by multiple releases in 2022, including Tiburon and Locura de Amor.
Ndoumbe's active recording career continued through the mid-2020s with a string of singles highlighting his diverse musical approach. These releases include Cuatro Caminos Son in 2023, and Tremendo Lio, Me Estoy Curando, and Entre la Flauta y el Violin in 2024. He followed these with Tambor Tambo Africano in 2025 and Mi Son Es Mi Son in 2026.
