Jose Morales is a Nicaraguan singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Nicaragua and raised in Los Angeles, Morales comes from a musical lineage as the son of the Nicaraguan guitarist Armando Morales Barillas (1936–1984). His musical style spans several Latin genres, including son cubano, salsa, cumbia, and bachata.
Morales began releasing solo singles in 2023 with the track "Cuentame". In 2024, he expanded his discography with the releases of "Mi Otra Mitad"—which featured an arrangement by Paulo Grajales—as well as "Se Acabó" and "Nuestra Noche".
His recent work includes the 2025 singles "Lágrimas De Llanto" and "Yo Entiendo", continuing his output of son cubano and tropical Latin music.
