Ricardo Diquez was born on July 2 in Caracas, Venezuela, to a Trinidadian father and a Puerto Rican mother. Raised as a young child in the Los Teques area of Venezuela, he later relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he established his professional music career.
In North Carolina, he leads Ricardo Diquez and The Tropic Orchestra, a Caribbean dance orchestra composed of local and international musicians performing Latin and salsa music.
Diquez's recorded discography includes several single releases spanning more than a decade. His recorded work includes the 2012 single 'Llego el Momento', the 2020 single 'Quédate En Tu Casa', and the 2025 single 'Sabroso Remedio'.
