Idiosincrasia Orquesta is a salsa group formed in Medellín, Colombia, in mid-2012. Influenced by the sound of 1960s and 1970s New York salsa orchestras, the group operates as a cultural movement originating in its home city. Their musical style is characterized by a format they refer to as Salsa de garaje (garage salsa).
The orchestra made its official recording debut in 2021 with the release of the single Remember, which served as a tribute to classical 1970s salsa. That same year, they also released the single Ensayo 83. The group subsequently released their album Salsa de Garaje in 2022, followed by the album Azúcar in 2024.
