Angel Mauricio Silva, born on December 30 in Caracas, Venezuela, is a Venezuelan musician, composer, arranger, producer, pianist, trombonist, vocalist, and orchestra director. Born into a musical family, he inherited his musical background from his grandfather, Manuel Silva Linares, and his father, Miguel Angel Silva, who was a bassist for the Gerry Weil Jazz Trio and Billo's Caracas Boys.
Throughout his career, Silva has remained active as a salsa performer, producer, and bandleader. His discography features albums such as No Te Alejes De Mi, Por Siempre, and El Legado De La Salsa Mundial, all released in 2022, followed by ¡Firmeza y Constancia! in 2024. In addition, his catalog includes several singles, including Mauricio Silva Presenta el Legado de la Salsa Venezolana Tributo a la Dimension Latina in 2020, Cada Vez in 2022, Solamente tu in 2023, and El payaso lloró in 2026.
