Alexis Charrier is a French singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Limoges. He plays guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, and saxophone, and is the founder of the musical project Essouna alongside drummer Thierry Arpino. Over the course of his career, Charrier has toured internationally in locations such as Japan and New York, performing alongside artists including Corneille and Martine St Clair. He has also worked as a composer for video games, contributing music to titles such as Shrek 4 and Iron Man 2, and is a Shaolin martial artist.
Charrier's recorded catalog features a variety of album and single releases. In 2019, he released the albums "When We Fight" and "Voodoo Land," as well as several French-language singles, including "Si la vie s'en va," "Vivre à ma façon," "La ville en fête," and "C'est l'Amour qui l'a eue." In 2022, he followed these releases with the single "Love lies around."
