Juan Francisco Quintero Mendoza, known professionally as Frank Quintero, is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist born in Caracas on November 27, 1952. The son of singer José Quintero, he initially performed as a drummer in rock, jazz, and Latin groups. He launched his solo career with the album "Después de la tormenta," released in 1976 by the CBS-Columbia label. From 1979 to 1982, he pursued formal musical education at the Berklee College of Music.
Over several decades, Quintero built a career centered on Latin pop music, working as a composer, vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist. His catalog includes 2016 releases such as "Pájaros y Estrellas," "Muchacha TÃmida," and "Frankamente Acústico."
Quintero has remained active with a steady stream of releases in the 2020s. These include the 2022 albums "Canciones para Mis Pequeños Amigos" and "Magneto Signos de Exclamación," the live album "Exitos Unplugged (En Vivo)" in 2023, and singles such as "Canción para Ti" (2021), "Apoyate En Mi" (2022), "Sencillo" (2024), "Un Segundo Aire" (2024), and "Asà Es Mi Tierra" (2025).
