Fermín Sifontes is a Cuban-born pianist, arranger, composer, singer, and music producer who acts as the bandleader for the musical project Fermin Fusion Salsa. Born in Camagüey, Cuba, Sifontes began his musical education at the age of ten at the Luis Casa Romero School. He later pursued advanced training at the Joseph White Music School, also in Camagüey, where he focused on piano, harmony, and composition. He eventually relocated to California, which serves as the base for his musical career.
Sifontes incorporates a variety of cultural rhythms and melodies into his salsa arrangements. Under his Fermin Fusion Salsa project, he released his debut single "Dulzura Latina" in 2019, accompanied by a music video dedicated to the salsa dance community. He followed this release in 2023 with the single "Bolero Arrebatado."
