Leo Polanco is a Dominican salsa singer who established his musical career following his retirement from the United States Air Force. Influenced early on by the merengue and bolero fusions of artists like Fernando Villalona, Polanco developed a distinctive melodic style within tropical music.
He launched his professional recording path with the single "Mentirosa," a salsa track written in collaboration with his mentor, Jesús Emilio de la Rosa. Polanco has continued to build his catalog with a succession of solo singles, including "Dime Corazon" in 2024, followed by "Esclavo Y Amo" and "Ya No Te Quiero" in 2025.
