Adjazzentes is a Latin jazz and salsa ensemble founded in 2008 in Barcelona, Spain, by the Colombian pianist, composer, and singer Héctor "Teo" Grajales. Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Grajales envisioned a project that fuses salsa and boogaloo with elements of funk and jazz. After returning to his hometown of Medellín, Grajales reconstituted the group with local musicians from the city's active jazz and salsa scenes.
Between 2018 and 2021, Adjazzentes released a series of singles, starting with "Tumbao & Groove" in 2018, and followed by "Taxista Salsero" and "Un Tumbao Distinto" in 2019. The group continued its output in 2021 with the singles "Esto Es Pa' Vos" and "La Salsa Espesa." Their discography also includes the album "Aspereza."
