Following his time with Pupy y los que Son, Son, Pedroso fronted his own project, Yasmani Pedroso y Orquesta La Transfusión. He also established a solo recording career, releasing a series of singles beginning in 2021. His initial releases included "Soy Cuba", "El Cordovan", and "De Mi Tierra Vengo".
Pedroso maintained a highly active schedule through 2022, issuing the singles "Bajo La Lluvia", "Me Gustas Tu", "Punto Y Final", "Humedad", and "La Luz Que Alumbra". He followed these in 2023 with the release of the single "Trampa".
