Chino Marquez is a salsa vocalist and filmmaker whose catalog highlights a career spanning several decades. Having developed his musical career for nearly twenty years, Marquez relocated to the United States around 2018. That same year, he launched his registered catalog with the single "Dejate Querer," followed by "Inolvidable" in 2019.
In 2021, Marquez collaborated with veteran Puerto Rican sonero Frankie Vázquez on the single "Nuestra Salsa." Written by Pedro Mauricio González, the song was originally recorded in the 1980s by the orchestra Swing y Color but had never been formally released to the public until Marquez resurrected it. This collaboration paved the way for his 2025 album of the same name, "Nuestra Salsa." Marquez has continued to release material, including "Pastor lopez mix 1 'A mi manera'" in 2022, "Con que Cara (Live Version)" in 2023, and the single "Sin Ti No Puedo" in 2026.
