Damián Vera is a Puerto Rican sonero and singer-songwriter originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Having discovered an interest in singing and composing music during his youth, Vera has established himself as part of the modern generation of salsa artists.
His discography began in 2022 with the release of the single "Extrovertida." In 2023, he followed with a series of singles, including "Ajedrez," "El Gemido vs La Humedad," and "Santa Se Quedó." That same year, he released the single "Yeti," which integrated urban music fusions into his salsa style.
In 2024, Vera continued releasing music with the singles "Saucy" and "La Verde." The track "Saucy" was arranged by pianist Carlos García and produced by García alongside trumpeter Ángel Segarra.
