Orquesta Bronko is a Venezuelan salsa group formed in 1983. Under the direction of owner, arranger, and pianist Shakaito, the orchestra became a prominent fixture in the Venezuelan romantic salsa scene, achieving popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits such as "Ramoncito" and "Encadenados." Over its history, the band has served as a collaborative platform for numerous Latin musicians and vocalists, including Carlos Esposito (El Kutimba), Erick Franceschi, Larry Machado, Ely Rios, Orlando Platt, Porfi Baloa, Pablo Santaella, Pamir Guanchez, Carlos Guerrero, Paquito Barón, and Mauricio Castillo. Additionally, director Shakaito has worked as a pianist and arranger for other prominent salsa artists, including Adalberto Santiago, Cano Estremera, Luisito Carrión, and Ray de la Paz.
In recent years, the orchestra has continued to record and release new material. They issued the album "Bronko" in 2021, accompanied by the singles "No Me Hables De Amor," "Falsa Bahiana," and "Que No Quede Huella." This was followed by the release of the album "Abriendo Corazones" in 2022 and the single "Te Amaré" in 2025.
