Vikki Romero is a New York-born salsa vocalist, radio host, and ordained pastor. After relocating to Puerto Rico with her family at the age of ten, she was encouraged by her parents to pursue music. She began taking lessons in singing, guitar, and the Puerto Rican cuatro. Over her career, Romero has performed and shared the stage with prominent Latin music figures such as Celia Cruz, Andy Montañez, Tito Nieves, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tony Vega, and flutist José Fajardo.
In 2020, Romero released her single Yo Te Recuerdo. The following year, she issued two albums: Se Te Olvidó and La Dama del Sentimiento. The latter album was produced by bassist Kenny Quintero and featured collaborations with the acclaimed salsa duo Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz. Her 2021 releases also included Christian-themed singles such as Jesucristo Te Ama and El Me Fortalece, alongside the single Cuando Me Digas Si.
In addition to her recording career, Romero has stayed active in broadcasting, working as a radio host and programmer for stations such as Cristo Latina Radio and OVM Radio. Based in Florida, she has continued to release new music, including the 2025 singles Voy A Quererte Mas and Stormy.
