Luis "Chino" Rosa, also known as "El Sonero Carismático," is a Puerto Rican salsa singer, director, and music producer. Born in the Dulce de Caimito neighborhood of Río Piedras in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Rosa was raised in a musical family. He was influenced by his father, who was a romantic music singer, and developed an appreciation for tropical rhythms through his older cousins. During his adolescence, he began performing with local musical ensembles, notably the group Los Pleneros del Barrio Dulce.
Rosa's discography includes the 2023 album El Corte Perfecto, which featured the single "Chica," and the 2025 single "La Mia." Alongside his recording career, Rosa has promoted his music internationally, including conducting promotional work in the Dominican Republic in late 2024.
