Pedro Conga y su Orquesta Internacional is a salsa group led by the bandleader, arranger, and instrumentalist Pedro Conga. The ensemble was introduced to the salsa-listening world in 1972 with the release of their self-titled debut album.
Over a career spanning more than 35 years, the orchestra has released over 17 albums. Pedro Conga has remained one of the industry's enduring bandleaders, guiding the group through several decades of changing trends in salsa music.
