Luisito Gomez & Calle 107 is a New York City-based salsa group led by Dominican American pianist, arranger, and bandleader Luisito Gomez. Raised in Harlem, Gomez was the first recipient of the Celia Cruz Foundation Scholarship in 2003. By age 15, he was performing in notable New York venues including the Copacabana and the Latin Quarters, backing established salsa artists such as Ismael Miranda and Andy Montañez. As a Latin Grammy-winning artist, Gomez established Calle 107 to perform modern salsa romántica with a contemporary energy.
Active under this name since 2021, the group has issued a consistent series of singles. Their catalog began with the 2021 releases "Ya no Me Llamas" and "Te Extraño," followed in 2022 by "Tu Me Olvidaste," "Dime Porque," and "Tu." Subsequent releases included "No Llores Mas" and "Tratare" in 2023, and "La Noche De Anoche" and "Discúlpame" in 2024.
Luisito Gomez & Calle 107 continued their active recording schedule into the mid-2020s, releasing "Quiero Enseñarte" and "Yo Te Voy a Amar" in 2025. In 2026, they followed up with the single "Just Another Day," maintaining their presence in the contemporary New York Latin music scene.
