
Gastón Pose is an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter, arranger, and producer who leads the salsa fusion project Gastón Pose y Su Mecánica Francesa. Based in France but rooted in Latin American musical traditions, the orchestra performs a style of salsa fusion that blends traditional Caribbean rhythms with contemporary influences. The group emerged on the recording scene in 2024.
The project's debut album, "Mil Fronteras", was introduced by the 2024 single "Barcelone Avec Toi". In 2025, they released the single "Mil Fronteras," which features a collaboration with Paraguayan singer Ninoska Espínola. This track combines South American folklore with elements of jazz, world music, and modern salsa arrangements. Gastón Pose y Su Mecánica Francesa continued their catalog output into 2026 with the single "Vamanos Pa'l Sur" and the release of the complete "Mil Fronteras" album.
