Carlos Cigarro is an Austrian DJ and music producer who specializes in adapting popular international songs into tropical dance arrangements. Cigarro has established a style that fuses classical, pop, and disco-funk foundations with salsa rhythms and timba elements.
In 2025, Cigarro released a salsa version of Yiruma's piano composition, "Kiss The Rain," as well as the single "Angel." That same year, he collaborated with Massimo Scalici and Poderosa on a salsa adaptation of the 1976 disco-funk classic "Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel" by Tavares, incorporating timba-style breaks into the arrangement. He followed these productions with the single "Favola" in 2026.
