Jesús Kharim Martes Santos, known professionally as Kharim Santos, is a Puerto Rican salsa singer born on July 24, 1969, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with close ties to the historic neighborhood of Puerta de Tierra. Prior to focusing on his musical endeavors, Santos served in the army. Musically, he is characterized by his integration of modern arrangements with classic Latin salsa rhythms.
In live entertainment, Santos has performed at prominent industry events, most notably the Festival de la Salsa in Orlando, Florida, which drew an audience of over 10,000 attendees. He manages his musical projects and bookings under the representation of Kharim Santos Music and Jokha Music.
