Raul Gallimore is a Panamanian pianist, arranger, singer, and musical director. Born on November 5, 1957, in the province of Bocas del Toro, Panama, he is widely recognized as the founder and director of the salsa ensemble Orquesta Inmensidad, which he established in Miami, Florida, in 1980.
Under Gallimore's leadership, Orquesta Inmensidad became a notable fixture in the Miami salsa scene. The band's early vocalists included Panamanian singers Sócrates Lazo and Junior "Pangarita", as well as Rubén Yindo RodrÃguez and Roberto Blades.
In his later career, Gallimore has continued to produce salsa music. His recent catalog includes the 2018 album "Positivo" and the 2024 singles "Te Equivocaste Amiga" and "REUNION DE GIGANTES".
