Miguel Méndez, also known by the sobriquets "El inédito de la salsa" and "La nueva voz de la salsa," is a salsa singer and songwriter from the Dominican Republic. Born in Las Barias de Azua, he is the youngest of twelve children born to José De los Santos Méndez and Gridelina Ramírez.
Méndez began building his discography with the release of his album Letras De Mi Alma in 2018. Over the following years, he released several singles, including Pa' Que Me Invitan 2.0 in 2020, Ella in 2022, and Que Se Case in 2023. In 2025, he released the album Salsa y Sabor, alongside the single Perderme En Tu Cuerpo and alternative arrangements of his works, including a ballad version of Perderme En Tu Cuerpo and a bossa pop version of Que Se Case.
On March 28, 2025, Méndez performed with his orchestra at the inaugural Día Internacional de la Salsa RD, held at the Club de los Billeteros in Santo Domingo.
