Yahaira Maciel Plasencia Quintanilla, known professionally as Yahaira Plasencia, is a Peruvian salsa singer, model, and television personality. She first entered the entertainment industry as a dancer before transitioning to a singing career. She rose to prominence as the lead vocalist for the all-female Peruvian salsa group Son Tentación before departing to launch her career as a solo artist.
Throughout her solo career, Plasencia has developed a repertoire focused primarily on salsa and timba, occasionally integrating elements of urban music. Her notable solo tracks include Cobarde, Y le dije no, La Cantante, and U La La.
