Cielo Kárem Torres Álvarez, known professionally as Cielo Torres, is a Peruvian singer, actress, and television presenter born in Tacna on September 5, 1985. She began her music career in her hometown performing rock, ballads, and música criolla. After moving to Lima, she transitioned to tropical music, first gaining recognition as a vocalist in the female cumbia group Agua Bella. She also performed with the ensembles Caramelo Picante and Los Fernández.
Torres later established herself as a solo artist, focusing primarily on the salsa and timba genres. Her catalog from 2018 to 2025 includes numerous solo releases and live sessions. Notable tracks from her repertoire include 2024 releases such as "Ahora Me Puse Buena (Sesión En Vivo)," "Por Respeto a Ella (Sesión En Vivo)," and salsa-adapted versions of "Te Espero en el Cielo" and "No Podrás." In 2025, she continued releasing material including the singles "Confidencial," "Se Puso de Moda," and live recordings of "Soñé una Vida" and "El Regalo Más Bonito."
