Farik Grippa Oviedo is a Peruvian salsa singer and songwriter, born in Lima on March 20, 1991. He first gained public attention in Peru by participating in television talent competitions, eventually winning the third season of the singing contest Los Cuatro Finalistas. Grippa's musical style mainly focuses on salsa and timba, while also incorporating elements of pop and romantic ballads.
Throughout his career, Grippa has released a consistent series of singles. Among his notable early tracks are En Peligro de Extinción, released as a live version in 2020, and Somos Dos, which received a ballad version in 2021. He also expanded his catalog with releases such as A Ella in 2021, an extensive medley of Luis Miguel cover songs in the same year, and Aires De Navidad in 2022.
Grippa remained highly active into the mid-2020s, releasing tracks like Maldito Destino and salsa versions or remixes of songs such as Partido en Dos and Este Salud Va por Ti in 2024. In 2025, he followed up with the singles Todo DarÃa and A Ella Live (Unplugged).
